"After years of attending art fairs throughout the world, we had a vision of what the art fair of the future could be."

James Cavello and Margarite Almeida, founders of New York's WESTWOOD GALLERY, have been art world innovators for over twenty-five years.

James is an award-winning curator, producer, publisher, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Margarite is an international business director, writer, educator and expert in exhibition development and large-scale art projects. Both have extensive experience integrating art and creative concepts into corporate, luxury, non-profit and experiential strategies.

Now, they are unifying their global art knowledge and curatorial experience to bring the next-generation art fair to life. Through unprecedented integrations of on-site technology and hospitality, Art Hawaii International will highlight the art and artist story. Over the next ten years, their mission is to extend the art and Aloha spirit to a city and state-wide partnership in arts and culture.

Art Hawaii International is the first fair with an environmentally-conscious model. We have partnered with the Hawaii Convention Center to ensure all paper goods are biodegradable and all waste generated from the fair will be recycled.
